Mercedes-Benz S-Class: LED Intelligent Light System

Mercedes-Benz introduced the first ever rear lamps with lighting´s multi-level functionality for the S-Class in 2013: brake light and indicator show variable intensity dependent on driving condition and brightness of the surroundings (day/night). Today, the rear lamps with the so-called lighting´s multi-level functionality are equipped as standard in the C- and E-Class as well as in the new GLE. They can also be found as standard equipment of the compact class family of Mercedes-Benz, beginning with the facelifted B-Class.
