BMW Group and Daimler AG combine services for urban mobility: The two companies are investing more than one billion euros in total to develop and more closely intermesh their offerings for car-sharing, ride-hailing, parking, charging and multimodal. The cooperation comprises the five joint ventures REACH NOW (multimodal), CHARGE NOW (Charging), FREE NOW (Ride-Hailing), PARK NOW (parking) and SHARE NOW (CarSharing). CHARGE NOW is a key contributor to the transition to emissions-free mobility and offers carmakers and fleet operators simple, standardised access to public charging points. These white-label solutions for public charging offer access to one of the world’s largest charging networks, with over 250 charge point operators (CPOs) to date, and enable electric drivers to locate, use and pay for charging worldwide.
