Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Active Blind Spot Assist: this radar-based system warns the driver when changing lanes if another vehicle is detected in the blind spot zone. If the driver ignores the system´s warnings and starts to draw dangerously close to the vehicle in the adjacent lane, the Active Blind Spot Assist springs into action, applying the brakes at the wheels on the other side of the vehicle in such a way as to produce a yawing movement that can avert a collision.
