Mercedes-Benz Group Media - Die Motorisierung der S-Klasse Hybrid besteht aus einem Achtzylinder-CDI-Dieselmotor (191 kW) und zwei Elektromotoren mit einer gemeinsamen Leistung von 50 kW. Durch den zweiten Elektromotor lässt sich der Diesel während der Fahrt fast unbemerkt zuschalten.
