  • Stuttgart/Affalterbach, Jul 22, 2015 - Mercedes-AMG is presenting new AMG accessories: with exclusive attachments and sporty side stripes, the dynamic look of the C 450 4MATIC AMG and the AMG Line models will be further increased. For the C-Class sedan, the exclusive AMG accessories are now available at all retailers. At years end, the corresponding offer will also be available for the C-Class station wagon. An additional program for further body versions and other series follows in 2016.
  • Stuttgart, Apr 8, 2015 - Mercedes-Benz is introducing a new entry-level model to round off the C-Class family downwards in cost terms. Similarly upping the stakes on the price front are two new cost-efficient four-wheel-drive variants. In terms of output, the new C 300 rated at 180 kW (245 hp) now takes the lead among the four-cylinder models. Yet more power comes with the equally new C 450 AMG 4MATIC, whose V6 engine delivers 270 kW (367 hp). At the same time Mercedes-Benz will be introducing new equipment options for the C-Class.
  • Stuttgart, Mar 17, 2015 - The high level of environmental compatibility of the Mercedes Benz C 350 e has now also been confirmed by the impartial auditors of TÜV Süd, a branch of the German Technical Inspection Agency: the new plug-in hybrid satisfies all criteria of an environmentally responsible product development pursuant to ISO standard TR 14062. The distinction is based on a comprehensive life-cycle assessment of the model, documenting every detail of relevance for the environment.

  • Stuttgart, Mar 2, 2010 - At the Geneva Motor Show in March Mercedes-Benz will be presenting two new models which see the premium brand from Stuttgart taking a great leap forward with regard to consumption and CO2 emissions. The new C 220 CDI now consumes a mere 4.5 litres per 100 kilometres – that’s 0.3 of a litre less than previously. This cuts its CO2 output from 127 g/km to 119 g/km. The E 250 CDI with an automatic transmission will require just 4.9 litres of diesel per 100 kilometres (129 g/km CO2) in future – as opposed to 5.8 litres currently (154 g/km CO2 – all provisional, combined figures).

  • Stuttgart, Sep 10, 2008 - Mercedes-Benz is set to launch a completely new diesel engine generation starting in the autumn of 2008. For its world premiere, the Stuttgart-based car manufacturer will unveil a C-Class model with this new four-cylinder engine. In the C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition, this engine produces, with its 2.2 litres of displacement, 150 kW / 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The premiere model can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 7.0 seconds, on the way to its top speed of 250 km/h. Notwithstanding these exceptional performance figures, the Prime Edition only consumes an average of 5.2 litres of fuel per 100 km (NEDC), with CO2 emissions of 138 g/km.

The permanent all-wheel drive system is now available for the six-cylinder models C 280, C 350 and C 320 CDI, with even greater efficiency and a lower fuel consumption thanks to further technical enhancements. Depending on the engine variant, the C-Class 4MATIC saloons cost between 40,281.50 and 46,707.50 Euro ex factory. A seven-speed automatic transmission is included as standard.
