  • Induction of the great designer into the European Automotive Hall of Fame
  • The man with the most lasting influence on Mercedes-Benz Design
“A Mercedes-Benz will always look like a Mercedes-Benz.” This is one of Bruno Sacco’s sayings - and he should know. The former Head of Design devoted his creative talents to the brand with the star for over four decades. On his retirement in March 1999, he had clearly become the man with the most lasting impact on the design of Mercedes-Benz automobiles spanning four decades.
Now he has been awarded a very special honor: on March 6, 2007, he is inducted into the European Automotive Hall of Fame in Geneva, making him one of a select group of outstanding individuals who have dedicated their lives to perfecting individual auto mobility. This award follows his induction in October 2006 into the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, USA. Bruno Sacco is one of the very few people to hold both these distinctions.
