Since its market launch in 1982, Mercedes-Benz has supplied customers with over 10 million cars of the C-Class family. The brand has sold more than 2.3 million sedans, estates and coupes of the current model series alone since it was unveiled in 2007.

Four first places for Mercedes-Benz: this is the result of the latest survey on driver satisfaction conducted by world renowned market research company J.D. Power and Associates. Vehicles emerging as clear winners in their categories include the A-Class, C-Class and the E-Class. In addition, Mercedes-Benz also took overall first place in the study among all brands. As a result, no other brand has customers which are as satisfied as those of Mercedes-Benz. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz has also been voted the strongest brand in the ADAC AutoMarxX study.

Mercedes-Benz is upgrading the C- and E-Class with six new models and a comprehensive range of modifications, with particular focus on multimedia systems. The C 180 BlueEFFICIENCY, C 200 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupé, E 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Edition and E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID set new records for efficiency in their respective segments, while the Coupé models C 250 Sport and C 250 CDI Sport, and the new AMG Plus sports package, continue to raise the profile of the C-Class.

This is confirmed by two recent awards: in Japan the C-Class leads the field as the best imported car for the second time in succession. The new C-Class to be launched in spring 2011 is a comprehensive modernisation. The front and rear sections of this bestselling model have a more striking design. Together with the optional, high-resolution colour display in the instrument cluster, the new dashboard with its elegant, grained surface and prominent decorative trim emphasises the premium character of the interior. Fuel consumption has been lowered by up to 31 percent.
