- Stuttgart, Apr 5, 2016 - For Mercedes-Benz, 2016 is the year of the convertible and the roadster. No other manufacturer offers so many and such young convertibles and roadsters as Mercedes-Benz Cars. The new C-Class Cabriolet – the latest in a long line of dream cars – has just had its world premiere in Geneva. Other signs of spring are the two updated SL and SLC Roadsters. The latest range of convertible dream cars extends from the smart fortwo cabrio and the C and E-Class Cabriolets to the S-Class Cabriolet.

- Stuttgart, Dec 15, 2015 - The Legends Club combines for the first time the wish to drive a classic car without having to worry about care and maintenance. “With the Legends Club, we want to bring together a community of enthusiasts who enjoy driving classic cars. - Frankfurt, Sep 15, 2015 - Mercedes-Benz is setting benchmarks in automotive fascination and innovative power with five world premieres at the IAA 2015. No fewer than four new models expand the line-up of Mercedes Dream Cars – the new C-Class Coupé and the new S-Class Cabriolet, each in two standalone versions from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG. Also making its debut in Frankfurt is the Concept Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile, known in short as the Concept IAA.

- Paris, Oct 1, 2014 - The “Piscine Molitor”, the setting for the Mercedes-Benz Media Night on the eve of the Paris Mondial de l’Automobile, is a truly legendary place. Tarzan actor Johnny Weissmüller, five-time Olympic swimming champion, once worked here as a lifeguard. And the hero of Hollywood blockbuster “Life of Pi” was even named after “the world’s most beautiful swimming pool” – Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel.

- Sunnyvale, USA, Sep 18, 2014 - On 16 September 2014 the US federal state of California introduced a legal requirement for an official licence for testing vehicles in autonomous driving mode on public roads. On "Senate Bill No. 1298" taking effect, Mercedes-Benz received a corresponding licence permitting it to test vehicles in autonomous driving mode in daily traffic on California's roads.

- Stuttgart/Frankfurt, May 9, 2014 - A comprehensive study by the Center of Automotive Management (CAM) and the Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) consultancy has revealed Mercedes-Benz to be the most innovative automobile brand, thanks to a wealth of innovations. Daimler has also won the competition as the "Most innovative group" in the "Vehicle concepts" and "Safety systems" categories. The presentation ceremony for the "AutomotiveINNOVATIONS Awards 2014" took place as part of a gala on 8 May 2014 in Frankfurt/Main.

- Beijing, Apr 20, 2014 - Following a sales increase of 47 percent in the first quarter, Mercedes-Benz is setting out its stall at “Auto China 2014” for further growth in the Middle Kingdom. Two world premieres see the star shine particularly brightly at Asia’s most important auto show – the phenomenally sporty Concept Coupé SUV is in keeping with the long tradition of large Mercedes coupés. The fascinating study combines on-road performance with the typical off-road competence of a Mercedes SUV.

- Stuttgart, Jan 30, 2014 - The Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the iconic G-Class off-road vehicle have been voted the best cars in their respective category. This was the conclusion reached by the readers of specialist German car magazine "auto motor und sport" as part of an extensive reader survey. As a result, both vehicles have been awarded the title "The best car of 2014".

- Stuttgart, Dec 17, 2013 - This is the third consecutive year that Mercedes-Benz has significantly outperformed the production records from previous years. Annual production of the brand with the star will rise to more than 1.49 million vehicles in 2013. Due to the excellent development of unit sales, the plants are working at high capacity utilization in 2013. As in the previous year, production will stop only briefly at the turn of the year.

- Stuttgart, Dec 12, 2013 - "The federal state of Baden-Württemberg is the home of the automobile. We are sending a signal for the future by actively opting for emission-free technology. It will be impossible to imagine our roads without vehicles employing these alternative drive systems," said Minister President Winfried Kretschmann during the handover of his new official car in Berlin on 12 December 2013.

- Stuttgart, Nov 29, 2013 - With the new GLA, Mercedes-Benz is adding a fifth attractive SUV variant to its model portfolio. The GLA impresses above all with its progressive character and agile handling. As the fourth out of a total of five new compact models from Mercedes-Benz, the GLA is the first SUV to be optionally available with the new generation of the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system with fully variable torque distribution.

- Kecskemét/Stuttgart, Nov 14, 2013 - Daimler AG has honoured the performance of its logistics partners for complete vehicles and has bestowed the European Carrier Award 2013 on the best companies. The prizes were handed over yesterday by Heiko Gaiser, Head of Global Transport Logistics, and Egon Christ, Head of Global Transport Logistics for Complete Vehicles, as part of European Carrier Day, which this year was held at the Mercedes-Benz Kecskemét plant in Hungary.

- Stuttgart, Oct 25, 2013 - Following the successful world premiere of the Mercedes-Benz GLA at the IAA in Frankfurt, many customers are already eagerly anticipating the launch of the new compact SUV from Mercedes-Benz. Now the anticipation is being cranked up a notch to an even higher level. This is because at the time of the market launch in March 2014 there will also be an exclusive Edition 1 variant. It will be available to order from the end of November for approximately one year after market launch.

- Stuttgart, Oct 18, 2013 - The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is now available in all key markets. Following its launch in Europe at the end of July and in China at the end of September, it is also available at dealers in the USA since this week. - Stuttgart/Ruckersville (USA), Oct 10, 2013 - The Mercedes-Benz M-Class has succeeded in passing what is now the stricter crash test carried out by the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), picking up the "Top Safety Pick+" (TSP+) award in the process. The premium SUV already received five stars in the U.S. NCAP and Euro NCAP tests in 2012. As a result of this latest award, the M-Class has again achieved the best marks and defended its leading position in three of the world's most important and most demanding safety ratings.

- Shanghai, Sep 30, 2013 - Last weekend Mercedes-Benz began a series of events to launch of the new S-Class in China. - Stuttgart, Sep 6, 2013 - The wireless connection of telephones in cars is standard today. Connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth, a smartphone can be used to make and receive calls, to establish a connection to the cloud, to enable the use of Mercedes-Benz apps - and it can be operated safely and conveniently via the multifunction steering wheel, voice control or turn/push controls.

- Sindelfingen, Sep 5, 2013 - With a new aeroacoustic wind tunnel at its development centre in Sindelfingen, the company now once again leads the way in aerodynamic testing. Measurements in the new wind tunnel can be made at wind speeds of up to 265 km/h. All in all, over a period of five years, the sum of more than € 230 million has been invested in extending the facilities of the Mercedes-Benz Technology Centre including the climate tunnel, the driving simulator centre and from now on the aeroacoustic wind tunnel.

- Beijing, Sep 4, 2013 - With more than 175,000 E-Class sedans delivered since 2002, the E-Class is a pillar model for Mercedes-Benz in Mainland China. More than one in five E-Class sedans delivered worldwide in 2012 was delivered to Chinese customers, making China the second biggest E-Class market worldwide after the US.

- Stuttgart, Germany / Uusikaupunki, Finnland, Aug 30, 2013 - The first Mercedes-Benz A-Class rolled off the line at the production specialist Valmet Automotive in Uusikaupunki. Production of customer vehicles thus started according to plan about 13 months after the contract manufacturing agreement was announced.

- Stuttgart/Maastricht, Aug 16, 2013 - Customer satisfaction and brand loyalty are major factors that contribute to Daimler AG’s sustainable success in the passenger car and commercial vehicle sectors. Since its establishment in 1998, the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) in Maastricht (Netherlands) has been a key precondition for customer satisfaction. At the beginning the CAC offered Mercedes-Benz customers services such as roadside assistance and complaint and enquiry management for 11 countries in six languages.

- Stuttgart/Warschau, Jul 30, 2013 - Since 20 July Mercedes-Benz has been showcasing its brand through a pavilion in the Powisle district of Warsaw, due to remain there for three months. The brand has chosen this location for its new temporary brand experience quite deliberately: Powisle with its parks lies in close proximity to the city centre and is a popular meeting place for Warsaw residents, especially during the summer months.

- Stuttgart, Apr 24, 2013 - The Daimler AG Board of Management has decided to expand the Mercedes-Benz Cars powertrain production network. Following approval by the Supervisory Board, additional capacities for transmission assembly are now planned to be established at the Romanian Daimler subsidiary, Star Transmission.

- Stuttgart, Apr 22, 2013 - The new Driving Events from Mercedes-Benz for the 2013/2014 season offer participants thrills galore and the height of driving enjoyment while honing their driving skills. The comprehensive programme spans the range from driving safety to adrenaline-charged race circuit training and breath-taking trips – according to participants' driving standards and personal expectations.

- Shanghai, Apr 20, 2013 - With attractive new products and an optimised sales structure, Mercedes-Benz is setting a clear course for sustainable growth in the key market of China. The previously separate sales businesses for imported and locally produced vehicle have been merged. At the head of Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co. Ltd. is Nicholas Speeks, who has been President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (China) Limited since 1st December and reports directly to the Daimler China Board Hubertus Troska.

- Stuttgart, Apr 11, 2013 - Mercedes-Benz and Michael Schumacher today announced a long-term partnership which will extend far beyond motorsport and Formula 1. Michael Schumacher will mainly be involved with topics relating to the future, in particular the further development of the Mercedes-Benz safety and comfort systems “Intelligent Drive”, and represent them as an ambassador. For many years now the seven-times Formula 1 World Champion has been working on road safety; as a partner he will from now on be supporting Mercedes-Benz's involvement in this field.

- Stuttgart/Geneva, Mar 6, 2013 - Mercedes-Benz Sport is now offering a broad palette of products to personalise the A-Class. At the Geneva Motor Show the company will use an A 180 in polar silver with detachable body parts in Jupiter red to demonstrate the numerous details with which an A-Class can be sportily upgraded using Genuine Accessories.
