For the fifth year in a row, Mercedes-Benz Vans has been the official main partner of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup - the largest series of mountain bike races. From 13 to 15 May, you can admire world leaders on the mountain bike scene at the start of the race in Nové Město na Moravě. They will compete in the Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) and Cross-Country Short Track (XCC). The XCO Junior Series is also taking place at the same event. After a break due to the pandemic, the race finally starts again with the audience. Thanks to that participants will ride in the great atmosphere of the Vysočina Arena.

Mercedes-Benz Vans will bring its #VANBASE to the event. In addition to the opportunity to see the wide portfolio of Mercedes-Benz Vans cars, there will be a chill-out zone at #VANBASE with the possibility to watch the races, photo corner and the activities for kids. You can also try our exercise bikes training. There is also the eventuality to win the skill coaching with our brand ambassador Richard "Gaspi" Gasperotti. Besides the other cars there will be displayed the new Mercedes-Benz T-Class for the first time in the Czech Republic. The vehicle had its world premiere just on April 26.

The new T-Class

Thanks to the premium-class vehicle coming to the private small van segment „Life gets big“. New T-Class aims at active leisure customers, families and sports enthusiasts. Sliding doors provide quick boarding and disembarking and flexible loading options. Contemporary design, extensive range of safety equipment and versatile connectivity. On the rear bench seat you can fit up to three child seats. This completely new model combines multi-functionality and a huge amount of space with a high-end level of equipment: Whether it be the standard MBUX infotainment system and electric parking brake, the optional 17-inch light-alloy wheels, KEYLESS-GO or ambient lighting, or even the ARTICO man-made leather/MICROCUT seat upholstery, the new T-Class boasts a versatile range of equipment highlights in its segment. A comprehensive range of standard safety equipment, including seven airbags and numerous driving assistance systems, makes it a state-of-the-art, reliable companion for families and active leisure enthusiasts. The car will be seen for the first time in the Czech Republic in Nové Město na Moravě.

Fully-electric vehicles Mercedes-Benz Vans

Mercedes-Benz Vans is a pioneer and leading manufacturer in the field of electric vans. To date, significantly more than 25,000 all-electric vans have been produced. One of the top sellers for electric vans is the eVito Tourer and EQV, which are both presented at Nové Město na Moravě. Today's electric portfolio includes both mid-size (EQV, eVito and eVito Tourer) and large-van (eSprinter) vehicles and will be supplemented by all-electric small vans (eCitan, EQT^[1]) in 2022. The eVito was already presented in 2017, followed by the eSprinter in 2019 and the EQV in 2020. Mercedes-Benz Vans is thus offering an all-electric model variant in all segments and has electrified its entire portfolio. Production of the next generation eSprinter will begin in Charleston (South Carolina, USA) in the second half of 2023 and will then start in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde. With the next generation of the eSprinter, Mercedes-Benz Vans is consistently implementing its strategy and underlining its claim to leadership 'Lead in Electric Drive'.

In Nové Město na Moravě you can also visit our #CAMPBASE, where the popular compact motorhomes of the Marco Polo family will be waiting for you, all three of them. You can see the fully equipped Marco Polo caravan and cars with a pop-up roof and a bench seat berth in the rear Marco Polo HORIZON and Marco Polo ACTIVITY.
