The world’s best golfers will travel to Baltusrol, New Jersey, to contest the 98th PGA Championship this week, each aiming to lift the coveted Wanamaker Trophy.
Mercedes-Benz continues as “Official Patron of the PGA of America and Official Vehicle of the PGA Championship”, providing a fleet of vehicles to transport players, caddies, managers, hospitality guests and tournament VIPs throughout Championship week.
In the Mercedes-Benz Performance Center, fans will have the opportunity to test their putting on a unique three-hole miniature golf course as well as take a close look at their favourite vehicle line-up. This year’s display vehicles include the Mercedes-AMG S-Class Cabriolet, Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, Mercedes-Benz S- and E-Class Sedan and the Mercedes-Benz GLS.
Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz Hole-in-One Challenge will return, giving spectators an opportunity to win a brand new Mercedes-Benz E-Class if they can register an ace at a specially par-3, adjacent to Baltusrol’s 17th Hole.
Mercedes-Benz also supports several of the world’s leading international players. Brand ambassador Rickie Fowler will be aiming to secure his first Major win. Meanwhile, Martin Kaymer will try to add a third to his collection. The German won the PGA Championship in 2010, then added the U.S. Open, in 2014. Mercedes-Benz Argentina ambassadors Emiliano Grillo and Fabian Gomez will each play their second PGA Championships, after debuting last year at Whistling Straits.
